After being postponed for two years due to Covid-19, the DSCLM Summer School returns!
The Hellenic Institute of Transport (CERTH/HIT) and the Laboratory of Supply Chain Management (LASCM/AUTH) announce the organization of the 2nd Summer School on Digital Supply Chain and Logistics Management which will be held in Thessaloniki, Greece, from 10th July to 14th July 2023.
Digital Supply Chain & Logistics addresses the challenges created by today’s hyper-competitive, omni-channel environment and explores your opportunities to develop an agile, customer responsive and resilient supply chain.
This program will allow students/professionals to learn about creating digital supply chain strategies and experimenting with key digital supply chain capabilities to further implement and transform dynamic value chains. In this program, we will analyse the factors involved in the digital transformation of supply chain. Develop an in-depth understanding of the perspectives, roles, and decisions in transforming supply chains in the digital era. Covers digital supply chain capabilities (Visibility, Agility, Collaboration, Omnichannel), the role of technology (IoT, AI, Digital Twins), processes and organizations, as well as digital platforms and performance. Discusses relevant and novel case studies.
The summer school targets to achieve the following objectives:
Identify and learn how to implement the key digital supply chain capabilities
Gain experience in developing digital supply chain strategies
Learn from real case studies that went through the digital transition of their SC processes
Acquire the appropriate competitive skills for becoming the perfect candidate in the job seekers' arena
